These terms cover the FF app and this website. FF is made by an independent developer (“we”, “us”). By buying or using FF, you agree to these terms.

1. The app

FF is a Mac app for designing App Store screenshots. It can capture screens from your own app in the iOS Simulator, and some features use AI services that you connect with your own API key.

2. Your license

When you buy FF, you get a personal, non-transferable, lifetime license to use it on one Mac. To move it to another Mac, deactivate it on the first one from the app’s settings. Everything you make with FF is yours to use for any purpose, including commercial use.

3. Price and payment

• FF is sold as a one-time purchase through Polar, our merchant of record. Polar processes your payment and handles sales tax, VAT and invoices.
• There’s no subscription: you pay once, and your license doesn’t expire or renew.
• If the price changes later, it doesn’t affect a license you’ve already bought.

4. Refunds

Payments aren’t refunded, except where the law requires it. See the Refund Policy.

5. Your content

You keep all rights to your screenshots, text and projects. You’re responsible for having the rights to what you put into FF and for what you publish with it.

6. AI providers

AI features send requests from your Mac directly to the provider you choose, such as Anthropic or OpenAI, using your API key. Your use of those services is governed by that provider’s terms, and any usage fees are billed by them. AI output can be wrong, so review your screenshots before you publish them.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t share or resell license keys, try to get around the licensing, or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it. Don’t use FF to break the law or anyone else’s rights.

8. Updates and availability

We may update FF to add, change or remove features. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors.

9. Disclaimer

To the extent the law allows, FF is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for FF in the 12 months before it.

11. Ending your license

You can stop using FF at any time. If you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, we may end your license. Sections 5, 9 and 10 continue to apply afterwards.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with a new date and, if a change matters to customers, tell them by email before it applies.
